The Food is Medicine Institute’s 2nd Annual Food is Medicine Advocacy Day will be held in Washington, DC on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Attendees will have an opportunity to speak with policymakers on Capitol Hill about the power of Food is Medicine to transform health, improve the way the nation prevents and treats diet-related diseases, and drive health equity across the country.

This webinar will help to set the stage for currently available resources including the HHS Food is Medicine Toolkit which highlights existing CME around best practices for training and education, federal and state resources, and funding opportunities. We will then share information about how to get involved with FiM advocacy initiatives, including how Advocacy Day attendees can meet with government stakeholders.

For those that may not be able to join Advocacy Day in person in Washington, DC please join to hear about ways to advocate for FiM initiatives across the country with your local representatives.
