APA Fellows and Trainee Conference

Registration for the 2025 Fellows and Trainee Conference is now open!

Registration is free for residents, fellows, faculty, and fellowship directors.

Pediatric Fellows, AGP Fellows, HM Fellows, Child Health Professionals, Residents, and medical students interested in pediatrics.

The purpose of the conference is to create a gathering of the national community of generalist fellows and faculty of the APA. We aim to build camaraderie across programs, provide valuable network­ing opportunities, offer high caliber workshops to potentially supple­ment local program offerings, and provide a forum in which fellows and residents can share and receive constructive feedback on their scholarly works in progress.

You DO NOT need to be an APA member to attend.

Program Directors, Associate Program Directors and Leaders in Medical Graduate Education

Therefore this meeting is great for fellows, AGP fellows, PHM fellows, and residents to attend. Additionally, program directors, associate program directors and other leadership personnel should attend. Faculty leadership participate in discussion groups with the fellow participants as well as serve as facilitators for workshops.

Topic for 2025: Unbreakable - Advocating for Impact in the Face of Adversity

1. Identify and develop essential skills foundational for academic success.

2. Network with fellows and faculty members from across the country.

3. Learn about how others have deployed the tools of advocacy to advance child health and how this might apply to your career.

The Fellows Meeting is planned by a small committee with leadership from APA's Fellowship, Leadership, Education, Accreditation Academy (FLEAT).
