Hosted by the Nutrition and Food is Medicine SIG
Access to healthy food is critical for both prevention and treatment of disease. As screening for food insecurity becomes standard of care in clinical settings, there is a growing interest in providing direct access to food within the clinical space. However most clinical spaces were not designed for food storage and distribution.
We are happy to have experts from the Washington DC Capital Area Food Bank join us for a virtual webinar to share information on how to identify and evaluate whether food pharmacy programs make sense for you and if so how to develop partnerships and run effective programs in collaboration with community food partners.
