The APA Immunization SIG is committed to improving timely vaccination coverage of children and adolescents. We bring together scientists, clinicians, educators, and advocates to focus on disease prevention through immunization, fostering new knowledge and sharing this evidence across disciplines.

The APA Immunization SIG supports disease prevention across the lifespan by promoting:

  • Research on vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccines, and vaccine delivery
  • Quality improvement initiatives in diverse healthcare settings
  • Dissemination of knowledge regarding important vaccine-related topics

Current SIG Goals:

  • Highlight recent scholarly work in the field of immunizations
  • Discuss key vaccine-related topics
