The Young Investigator Awards Program is committed to supporting early career investigators interested in pursuing a long-term career in research and academic medicine with a focus on enhancing the health and well-being of all children, particularly those most vulnerable.

The YIA Program seeks to support a diverse cohort of early career investigators - in both lived experience and academic institution. Each year, at least one award will be given to a young investigator who identifies as underrepresented in medicine (UIM).
