This is a fun and face-paced networking session designed to bring early career faculty and fellows together with mid-career and senior faculty.

Mentees will be assigned to a track and will have 10 minutes for one-on-one mentoring with mentors assigned to their track. After completion of the speed mentoring activity, the entire small group (mentors and mentees) in each track will meet for a lively discussion of mentees’ short- and long-term goals over lunch.

Additional Information

Mentors are individuals who have been in an academic faculty position for 8-10 years or longer.

Mentees are individuals who are in fellowship or in their first 6 years of an academic faculty position. (Exceptions for New Century Scholars!)

Mentees should come to the session with questions prepared to make the most of the 10 minutes per mentor. Both Mentee and Mentor CVs will be shared via email prior to the event to help facilitate conversation, but please be sure to bring a copy.

The final number of mentees and mentors will be determined by registration.
