APA’s Healthcare Delivery (HCD) Committee is responsible for setting the organization’s health care delivery strategy including promoting academic child health care professionals’ career development in research, education and quality improvement to: enhance the patient and family experience; improve population health; reduce healthcare costs; and promote provider engagement, well-being, and resiliency (i.e., the Quadruple Aim).
The committee developed and prioritized the following goals for 2018-2019:
- Collaborate with the Public Policy and Advocacy Committee to develop innovative and combined programming at the PAS meeting
- Support the Wellness and Resiliency Task Force
- Award the Health Care Delivery Award
- Disseminate health care delivery innovations and quadruple aim scholarship
