Pediatric Policy Council

The Pediatric Policy Council (PPC) is the combined legislative advocacy efforts of the Academic Pediatric Association, American Academy of Pediatrics the Association of Medical School Pediatric Department Chairs, the American Pediatric Society and the Society for Pediatric Research. The PPC’s publishes a monthly newsletter highlights advocacy and policy updates from Washington, DC.

Federation of Pediatric Organizations

The Federation of Pediatric Organizations (FOPO) promotes optimal health for children by building on the efforts, expertise, and relationships of its member organizations to accomplish shared goals. Statement on Anti-Asian Hate.

International Pediatric Association

The International Pediatric Association (IPA) works with pediatricians and other partners who are leaders in promoting physical, mental and social health for all children, to realize the highest standards of health for newborns, children, and adolescents in all countries of the world.

Advocacy Skills-Building Campaign

The APA's Public Policy and Advocacy Committee leads a yearly campaign to help APA members develop strategies and skills related to different types of advocacy so you can apply these strategies to your own work. Each year we highlight a different advocacy-related skill.

Policy Updates and Learning Collaborative

The PPAC federal policy update collaborative is a virtual meeting where APA members can receive policy updates from the American Academy of Pediatrics Federal Policy Director and discuss advocacy opportunities. This group also provides the opportunity for APA members to share and receive feedback on their work and be in community with other colleagues passionate about advocacy.
