The Nutrition in Underserved Communities Young Investigator Award funds research focused on improving nutrition and nutrition-related health issues in children, ages 0-21. Projects must focus on low-income populations and involve primary data collection, including quantitative and/or qualitative methods. This award is funded by a generous donation from the Karp Family in honor of Dr. Robert Karp. The program awards up to $14,000 per selected proposal.
