Webinar and content guidelines
This submission form is for developing free, on-demand content for APA members that will be featured on the Academic Pediatric Association’s Website . The APA is seeking subject matter experts interested in creating educational content tailored to academic pediatrics. Topics may include, but are not limited to, leadership and career development, diversity and inclusion, advocacy, medical education, clinical innovation, research methodology, and health policy. Submissions should be designed to support APA’s mission to advance child health through education, research, leadership, and advocacy, and to promote professional growth among pediatric educators, researchers, and clinicians. Preference will be given to content that aligns with APA’s strategic priorities and enhances learning opportunities across our key programs, regions, and Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
General Approval Process/Timeline
Of course, we know you are eager to hear back from us on your submission and trust we are eager as well! Please allow the digital learning team at least two weeks to review your submission and email back with a decision. Should your submission match the learning criteria, we will email a follow-up on the next steps.
Submitter Qualifications
The APA is seeking subject matter experts in academic pediatrics, medical education, research, advocacy, or leadership within the pediatric community. Our highest priority is content developed by APA members, faculty, and staff who can share real-world experience and insights from their work in academic pediatrics. We also welcome proposals from collaborating partners, including educators, researchers, clinicians, and professionals from related fields—particularly when paired with an APA member co-presenter. Submissions that include case studies, practical examples, and evidence-based approaches are strongly encouraged. All content should be purely educational and free from promotion of external products or services. Preference will be given to original material developed specifically for APA audiences, rather than sessions or presentations previously delivered elsewhere.
Speaker Agreement
APA requires contributors to sign our Contributor Agreement (PDF). Please feel free to review the PDF contract and email the Digital Learning Team with any questions you may have.
Financial Information
Please note that submissions for our digital content speaking opportunities are shorter, unpaid, volunteer projects. We are committed to ensuring that our learners are given the best professional development possible while also protecting their privacy, and as a result we are also unable to share registrant lists or attendee contact information with our subject matter experts.
Catalyst Interest Form
Please have each presenter complete the APA_ONLINE_PRESENTER_AGREEMENT_2025.docx and submit to APA before the presentation.
