Dear Pediatric Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce the next class of the National Academy of Distinguished Educators in Pediatrics (NADEP) within the Academic Pediatric Association. This distinguished academy’s goal is to enhance the visibility and prestige of pediatric educators, and advance educational scholarship, and pediatric educational programs for learners across the continuum of medical education. An honorary service academy, NADEP envisions an expansive, diverse, and inclusive community of pediatric educators who collaborate to enhance pediatric education’s role in improving health.
After a rigorous peer review process, the current NADEP members are excited to announce the 2026 class of distinguished pediatric educators. We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to the members of our Recruitment and Selection Committee for their time, expertise, and dedication to the application, review, and selection process: Jennifer Trainor (Chair), Barrett Fromme, Hayley Gans, Su-Ting Li, Elisa Zenni, Linda Waggoner-Fountain, Mark Adler, Joe Jackson, Sandrijn van Schaik, Louis Halamek.
