The purpose and mission of the Complex Care and Disability SIG is to promote clinical care, education, research, and advocacy in complex care. The SIG’s goals are to establish international complex care connections, build research networks, provide mentoring to those build complex care programs.
Annual Summary
SIG annual meeting was well-attended and our listserv is very active. August 2014 Newsletter Article The Complex Care and Disability SIG had a well-attended meeting in Vancouver. Topics discussed included Models of Care for High Resource Utilizers, Education in Complex Care, Identification of children with disabilities from administrative data, Development of a Complex Care Program registry and the Children's Hospital Association National Proposal for Children with Medical Complexity.
