Registration for the Annual Region IV meeting is now available! This year's meeting will take place in the beautiful and family-friendly, Charlottesville, VA, February 20-21, 2010. This year's meeting co-chairs; Kantahyanee Murray (Johns Hopkins University), Rachel St. John (Gallaudet University) and John Olsson (East Carolina University) are working hard on planning another excellent conference. Meeting highlights include Breakfast with the Professors, a Resident QI/QA Project Poster Session and Keynote Speaker, Dave Tayloe, MD, immediate past president of the AAP. The meeting is a great forum for educators, researchers and clinicians interested in academic pediatrics to connect with potential collaborators in the region. The meeting is also a great forum for those not actively engaged in research to become more involved or learn how to get started in a friendly and supportive environment. We expect it to be as well attended, fun and educational as it has been in years past. Please encourage your colleagues, trainees and students to attend.

Membership in the region continues to grow. To encourage increased participation and membership, please invite colleagues, faculty members, fellows, and residents to consider applying for membership. If you are interested in serving as a recruiter for Region IV at your home institution, let us know.
