This is a fun and face-paced networking session designed to bring early career faculty and fellows together with mid-career and senior faculty. Mentees will be assigned to a track and will have 10 minutes for one-on-one mentoring with mentors assigned to their track. After completion of the speed mentoring activity, the entire small group (mentors and mentees) in each track will meet for a lively discussion of mentees’ short- and long-term goals.
Mentors are APA members who have been in an academic faculty position for 8-10 years or longer. Mentees are APA members who are in fellowship or in their first 6 years of an academic faculty position. Mentees should come to the session with questions prepared to make the most of the 10 minutes per mentor.
