ROLE of the POSITION

The University of Nevada Las Vegas Department of Pediatrics in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Pediatric Neurologist at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level.  We are seeking a Fellowship trained Pediatric Neurologists with experience in Epilepsy and general pediatric neurology.  The physician will provide inpatient, consultative neurological care at the University Medical Center and Sunrise Children’s Hospital of Nevada.  Outpatient care will be at the UNLV Lied Pediatrics Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The successful candidate will be an active participant in medical student and resident education and have an interest in scholarly activities.  Proven abilities in the areas of clinical research, health outcomes or education outcomes research is desirable.  This is a non-tenure track position.

QUALIFICATIONS

MD/DO, or equivalent; Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Neurology prior to start date is required.  Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and must able to be successfully credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
