Pediatric Hospital Medicine Faculty Opportunity
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our organization in western Massachusetts.
Position Highlights –
– Manage a diverse population of pediatric inpatients in our 53-bed general pediatric and adolescent wards with support of our top-notch onsite specialists. All patients on the inpatient ward are resident covered. We do not provide NICU or PICU coverage, but we do cover the newborn nursery (no delivery attendance).
– Ability to be a generalist or handle newborn nursery coverage, depending on candidate interest.
– Opportunity to work 100% in pediatric hospital medicine, or split the position with adult hospital medicine.
– Combination of clinical care and resident and medical teaching with faculty appointment at University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Qualifications: ABMS BC/BE in pediatrics or med/peds. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is a 107-bed facility, which provides complete critical care programs including the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, as well as pediatric inpatient services, child life specialists, a designated emergency room just for kids, and outpatient specialty services.
