The Section of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of Wake Forest School of Medicine and Brenner Children’s Hospital (BCH) is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in Adolescent Medicine. Candidates should be board certified in Pediatrics and have expertise in Adolescent Medicine, board certification or eligibility preferred, but not mandatory. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

The position entails clinical care and teaching of medical students and residents in a community-based health center. In addition, faculty are encouraged and supported in the development of an area of scholarly focus. This position offers opportunities for community outreach and collaboration with colleagues in adolescent medicine and general pediatrics who share common clinical and scholarly interests, and with related specialties (e.g., adolescent gynecology, sports medicine, and adolescent psychiatry). The successful candidate will possess skill in placing and removing LARCs and will have experience in the areas of mental health, reproductive health, and obesity.
