These two distinct positions offer unique opportunities to work (1) in our new and rapidly growing Complex Care Center which has dramatically enhanced value-based health care for children who receive primary care at the Center, or (2) in our collaborative and thriving academic primary care setting where your skills and enthusiasm would foster personal and career development.

Responsibilities include ambulatory clinical sessions and teaching medical students and residents. On call is shared with all other members of the C3 team and involves phone coverage.
Primary Care Centers (PCC): This position is open at entry or mid-level in the non-tenure stream. The position is based at our PCCs in the Oakland and Turtle Creek neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, PA, which care for a diverse pediatric population. An ideal candidate will have fellowship training, an MPH or MS degree, chief residency or significant clinical or teaching experience, and a strong interest in improving care to underserved children. Responsibilities include ambulatory clinical sessions and teaching medical students and residents. On call is shared with members of the Division and involves phone coverage, evening or Saturday morning acute care appointments, and weekend coverage at the newborn nursery.
