CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Children’s Wisconsin hosts the Best Practices in Pediatrics CME conference, providing the latest information about diseases and issues encountered in pediatric practices. Nearly 250 pediatricians, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants from across Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa attend. This year’s conference will take place March 7-8, 2025, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
Purpose
Provide a forum for presentations on case reports or clinical research by students, residents, fellows and advanced practice providers. Abstracts must have either a pediatric or adolescent medicine focus with clinical applicability and interest or evidence-based practice.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Case study, perhaps something done for Professor Rounds
- Clinical research
- Applicable QI project
- Clinical research presented at a past conference or that could be presented at a future meeting
Important dates | All presenters must commit to deadlines and submission requirements.
January 12| Deadline to submit abstract
January 19| Abstract approval sent to authors
March 7 or 8| Participate in-person during one poster session either on Friday, 3:15 – 5 p.m., or Saturday, 11:45 a.m – 12:45 p.m. Your assigned presentation date will be included in your acceptance letter.
