APA Trainee Award for Innovation in Pediatric Medical Education

This award will be granted to the best medical education abstract submitted to the Annual PAS Meeting by a trainee (high school/college student, medical student, resident, fellow, post-doctoral student/fellow or allied health trainee), which meets the criteria for creativity/innovation and impact on pediatric educational practice. The first author must be a trainee to be considered for this award. At least ONE author on the abstract (trainee or faculty) must be a current member of the APA. The abstract also must be submitted to the topic area "Medical Education." If the first author is not a trainee, please see the APA Ray E. Helfer Award for Innovation in Pediatric Medical Education.

A committee of the Academic Pediatric Association selects the winning candidate, and the award will be presented to the trainee at the session (Platform or Poster) in which the abstract presentation is scheduled.
