There are 10 geographically designated Regions within the Ambulatory Pediatric Association. Due to very active participation from the Uniformed Services pediatric programs, we have designated Region XI as representative of their military practices. These institutions deserve separate recognition given their unique medical insurance coverage and access to care.
A Regional Research Chair will be selected from each region by either self or peer recommendation. Steering Committee members may solicit interested parties from within the region. If there is more than one volunteer from a particular region, selection will be based on their motivation and interest. Names will be proposed by the Network Director or the Steering Committee and voted upon by the Regional Research Chairs.
