It is already time to begin thinking about the next PAS meeting in Denver, Colorado from April 30,- May 3, 2011. We hope members of the APA will submit proposals for the invited science components of the PAS meeting. These include State of the Art Plenary Sessions, Topic Symposia, Hot Topics and Mini-Courses (not Workshops, which will be solicited later this summer and due mid-August). These sessions are excellent opportunities for APA members to get involved and have fun sharing knowledge with others at the meeting. The deadline for submission of proposals is July 1, 2010. The descriptions below will give you an idea of the focus for each of these scientific sessions. There is some overlap in their descriptions, so do not focus too much on how your proposal fits into one of these categories. If you have an interesting concept that would be relevant to our members, submit the proposal!!
Please propose your best ideas toward a state of the art plenary, topic symposia, hot topic, or mini-course. Proposals should be submitted electronically using the web-based 2011 Official PAS Program Submission program found on the PAS meeting website at www.pas-meeting.org. The submission deadline is July 1st.
After you have formally submitted a proposal, please send me a copy at sselbst@nemours.org. While the APA cannot guarantee acceptance of any proposal, we can offer support at the Program Committee meeting for sessions that are particularly relevant to the APA.
