Ethics Special Interest Group

In May 2009 the Ethics SIG meeting will focus on issues in the ethical conduct of research. We have invited David Michaels, PhD, MPH, who is the Director of the Project on Scientific Knowledge and Public Policy and Interim Chairman of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services in Washington, DC. He recently wrote a book called "Doubt is Their Product: How Industry's Assault on Science Threatens Your Health". To learn more and get a preview of his work, go to Click Here

All conference attendees are welcome. You do not need to be a member to attend. If there are specific issues you would like Dr. Michaels to address or topics you would like the Special Interest Group to cover at a future meeting, please contact Ruth Etzel at RETZEL@GWU.EDU or Ernest Krug at EFKRUG@BEAUMONT.EDU.

Co-chairs:
Ruth A. Etzel, MD, PhD
