The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The AAP designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Claiming your CME Credit is Easy!

Credits must be claimed within one (1) year of the CME activity.

Please follow the instructions below to record your AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).

AAP Members & PediaLink subscribers
1. Log on to PediaLink at with your AAP login
2. Click on the CME tab
3. Click the CME Transcript button
4. Click Claim Your Credit
5. *Date Earned = Transcript Year
6. Enter the total number of credits you are claiming
7. Check Confirm Claim box
8. Click Submit to finish

You may Click the Certificate link next to the activity to print an individual certificate or select Print Transcript at the top of the screen to print a transcript. *Please note: Credits will appear within the transcript year that the credits are being claimed. The Date Earned field may be edited using the calendar icon beneath the text box. Example: If credit is claimed for the 2011 USPS on 01/21/2012 the credits will post to your 2012 AAP transcript.

Non-members & other attendees
Submit a copy of the certificate of attendance, AAP ID number & total number of credits you are claiming to the AAP office with payment of $25.00. Your credits will be recorded and a transcript mailed.
