Pediatric Hospital Medicine 2012

Conundrum Oral Presentation Session I
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Enhance their skills in formulation of differential diagnoses.
  2. Discuss appropriate diagnostic procedures for patients described.
  3. Diagnose the conditions described when they present in their practice.

The Conundrums Sessions provide and opportunity for participants to enhance their diagnostic skills and improve their medical knowledge through case-based discussions led by Pediatric Hospitalists. Cases for discussion will be chosen by conference faculty (Doctors Jacob and Vachani) from among those submitted by members of the PHM community. Selection will emphasize unusual diagnoses as well as unusual presentations of common conditions. Cases are presented in an interactive fashion that promotes audience participation and discussion.
